Dublin Airport saw continued growth of the middle class (C1s) in Q1 of this year, representing 51% of all passengers.
Business travel among C1s is up significantly, an increase of 21% driven by both Irish and non-Irish residents.
Overall business travel is up 19%, the highest growth and share in three years with significant growth in UK resident business passengers.
North American resident passenger travel is up 21%. Capacity and transfer passenger growth is contributing greatly to this.
Generation X represented one third of all Q1 passengers, an increase of 28%.
