Dublin has been shortlisted in the ACI Europe Best Airport Awards for the second successive year.
The prestigious nomination is in the top category for major airports handling more than 25 million passengers a year.
Last year Dublin took the inaugural Accessible Airport Award for the services and facilities provided to disabled passengers and those travelling with reduced mobility.
Now in its thirteenth year the prestigious ACI Europe Best Airport Awards recognise excellence and achievement across a whole range of disciplines relating to airport operations.
Past winners in this category include high ranking airports such as Heathrow, Amsterdam Schiphol and Barcelona Airport El Prat.
This year’s winners will be announced in front of an audience of 400 chief executives and industry leaders at a gala dinner at the 27th ACI Europe General Assembly, Congress and Exhibition in Paris on June 13.
