A new Wrights of Howth outlet has opened on the way to the 300 Gates in Dublin Airport Terminal 1.

The new Taste of Ireland outlet offers passengers a range of In-flight snack options and premium coffee in addition to their traditional food retail offer.

Brendan Dee, Key Account Manager, Concessions, said daa was delighted to welcome the new outlet as part of the general Pier 3 upgrade.

“The offer has been tailored to complement the existing food and beverage experience with an open walk-through feel. It will feature  interactive food displays while also catering for the mix of short and long haul flights scheduled to depart from Pier 3 in 2017 and onwards”

Wrights of Howth said the new outlet was designed in line with the company’s traditional Irish values and indigenous artisan product offerings, which are part of its Taste of Ireland range.

It said that, with the expansion of Pier 3 to international travellers, “our retail offerings will ensure that all passengers will be able to procure high quality high Irish gifts, both to consume directly, or to purchase for their friends and business colleagues abroad.”
