More than 376,000 passengers are expected to travel through Dublin Airport this October Bank Holiday Weekend, from today Friday 26 to Monday 29 October, 2018.
Passenger numbers are up 8% over the same weekend last year, according to Dublin Airport.
According to Dublin Airport spokesperson Siobhán O’Donnell “more than 2,500 flights are due to arrive and depart at Dublin Airport this weekend”
She added “we’re expecting an average of 95,000 passengers each day over the course of the October Bank Holiday Weekend.”
Today (Friday) is expected to be the busiest day of the Bank Holiday Weekend, with more than 100,000 passengers travelling through the airport.
So far this year, Dublin Airport has welcomed an extra 1.4 million customers, as passenger numbers are up 6% to more than 24.2 million passengers for the first nine months of 2018.
