Dublin Airport welcomes the announcement that Ryanair will operate a new summer service to Turkey.
The new weekly service to the tourist gateway of Dalaman on the country’s south-west coast is set to begin in June.
This is Ryanair’s first venture into Turkey which will form part of its 2018 summer schedule and they will also operate a weekly flight from the Slovakian capital Bratislava to its new Turkish destination, of Dalaman.
Dublin Airport Managing Director, Vincent Harrison said of the announcement: “I am delighted to see Ryanair’s route network expanding further and going from strength to strength at Dublin Airport.”
He added: “Turkey is a hugely popular sun destination for Irish people so I have no doubt the route will be a great success.”
Dalaman is located on the country’s south-western coast close to the holiday resorts of Marmaris, Fethiye (pictured) and Oludeniz.
